Dissapointed Plenti member and ExxonMobil employee
Greetings ATT,
As an ExxonMobil employee just transferred to Spring Texas (The Woodlands) and motivated by my Plenti membership where our companies are co-participants I tried to get ATT verse for my new apartment.
I went (twice) through an horrible telephone processs including credit checks. And was unsuccessful in getting the desired service.
In comparison, I was able to sign up with XFinity- Comcast online in 10 min (including the credit check). I am expecting my installation (also scheduled online) in ~ 5 days.
I am a marketer and know (hope) you will appreciate the feedback.
You can reply to this message if you desire to do so and I am happy to elaborate or give live feedback.
Thank you
Alex

Based on my experience, consider it a bullet well dodged.
Uverse was not good or cheap.
Xfinity has Better internet and TV.

The Plenti program only partners with ATT wireless services, not Uverse. Too bad they couldn't tell you that or you didn't do some research before you called. It would've saved you time and headaches.

Comcrap is a little deceitful on pricing, DVR 1st year is $7.95/mo, 2d year and every year after is $20-21/mo. Package price is low for 2 years, but goes to high regular rates every year after that.
For me it's a non-starter in metro Detroit, they don't offer FS2, only have in SD TVLand, GAC, Sundance and have no FXMovies. All channels I regularly watch/record in HD on Uverse.
Also I use Basic Talk and don't need their VOIP phone and don't get much of a bargain w/o it.
Edit: As good as my Uverse HD PQ is now on my 42" Panasonic Plasma, not so sure Comcrap would be any better.

Based on my experience. Uverse is much better than Comcast.
