Existing UVerse customer.. Can i get package price that new customers get?
Hi. Basically all our promotions are ending and our bill is going to sky rocket up to 250 dollars a month for TV and Internet. Currently we have the U450 + 45Mbps net. Time warner has a comparable package to what we have (except TWC would have faster internet) for 130 a month including dvr + 1 box. So if we are unable to work something out, we will just leave... but have been satisfied with service and would rather stay.
Anyways,
Looking as if we were first signing up theres a u300 package deal (including the movie package), with 45mbps internet for 125 a month and locks in that price for TWO years! Would it be at all possible to get this? I talked on live chat and the promotional offers they gave me were laughable. At least with TWC they gave very tempting offers to stay with them.
Thanks!

@daterxies Only good deal from ATT is big discount on DirecTV 1st yr, 2d yr $30-50/mo more.
From Retentions can only expect $10/mo per service. ATT realized how much $$$ being wasted on discounts for 'current users' and coming off a discount/contract.
You are a current user, those good deals bring in new customers only. 😉

@daterxies Save (or invest) that $100 and go w/TWC.
They used to do that until they got DirecTV and saw Uverse monthly costs were $17/user more ($102 million on 6 mil IPTV users). Over $1.2 billion/yr. Guess they really did see the light then.
