Finding expiration date for current agreement for Uverse TV, Internet, and Home Phone Service
AT&T very cleverly does not state the expiration dates on agreement bundles and if you don’t call and haggle a new agreement price on the expiration date the price jumps. The expiration date was not included in the confirmation email for the current contract either and if you log onto your AT&T account the expiration date can not be found there either. It is so clever of AT&T not to keep their loyal customers informed of the expiration date so they can gouge them for more of their money. I despise calling AT&T and listening to the prolonged automated answering machine spill and my blood pressure goes up especially when the automated answering machine monologue recommends logging onto the AT&T website to get your answers and resolve your situation.

Whenever I go through the annual ritual with promotions, whatever I get, I write the expiration date down (1 year from when the promo starts). Since I still receive paper billing I write on one of the bill envelopes that I save the att bills in. In other words it is my responsibility to know when my promo ends and when to call.
On the other hand I noticed that some weeks prior to the end of my last promo, if I logged into MyAT&T billing, there was an alert icon indicating alert messages one of which included a message that the promo was coming to an end in a few weeks. Of course att seems to be always changing MyAT&T layout so who knows if the alerts will continue but the alert icon is still there today as I post this.
I do agree though, how much effort would it be for att to include this info in their online statements as well as their paper bills.
