get directv and cancel u-verse tv

I talked to representative to cancel u-verse tv after getting directv installed. I returned the u-verse equipment. However, my billing has not been updated and my u-verse tv bill still comes. I also chatted with representative and he promised to fix it and refund money paid for u-verse after cancellation. I want to stop to have the u-verse bill and my money refunded

did you cancel in the middle of a billing cycle? even canceling 1 day into the cycle you pay the full month they dont pro rate srvice.how long did you have the uverse? there could also be early termination fees associated with it as well

Hi, No, I called on Feb 24 to cancel, return equipment on Feb 25, but I am still getting the bill due tomorrow. My contract has ended in December because my promotion period was done and i am paying 60 bucks more for the U-verse since January. I switched to directv at ATT at a costoc store in February after the contract was done. I was also confirmed by the representation during the online chatting that he will get me fix and get me a new bill with my internet combo with directv instead of U-verse. And extra money paid for U-verse after I canceled it will be refunded by mail. But it didn't happen. I will be very glad if you can help as I made calls or online chat with no reply, probably due to the pandemic now.
