"HBO Bundle" for existing customers?

The new U-verse "HBO Bundle" offer is impressive...

$39/month for broadband, HBO, HBO Go, and a year of Amazon Prime.

I would love to be able to get that, but it's only for new customers.  Is there anything at all similar for existing customers??  If I could get that, I may actually not switch to Google Fiber.

There are regular promotions offered, you can always talk to the Sales team and see what we have floating around for existing customers.

What they are (sometimes) able to do is re-negotiate your existing promotional rate. For instance, if you're in a 12-month commitment at $xx per month, and want to save a bit, they could look at current bundles in exchange for re-negotiating your commitment (ie you'd start your 12-months all over again). Againn, that depends on what is currently being offered and whether those plans/promotions are marked as available for existing customers. Only true way to know is to call in.

If your not currently in a contract (receiving no monthly discounts) you should be eligible to take advantage of this offer

You're right... I was able to sign-up for it online from the "Shop" tab (after logging into my account).  I called customer service afterwords just to check, and they say my new service (with a new account number) will start and my old account will be terminated the same day.

I think some people were having trouble getting this offer because they called customer service, but customer service isn't able to offer it because it's a special "online only" deal.
