HBO/Cinemax Order Processing Over and Over

There are a few HBO shows I want to watch so I logged in to take advantage of HBO/Cinemax free for 3 months deal so I could access HBOGO. I have been with ATT for a while now (U300 package and internet), so I just signed up online for HBO/Cinemax.

-When I signed up on 12/28, it said it was processing and would be available after midnight. Next day, no HBO/Cinemax.

-I logged into chat and was told there was some error and they would process it again and to wait 24 hours. 24 hours goes by and still no HBO/Cinemax. I chatted 2 more times and was told the same thing. Still no luck.

-I called and got the same result. They all tell me to wait 24 hours (convenient it is no longer their problem with these instructions) but still no HBO. I don't see why it is difficult to add these two channels -- should be instant you would think.

Anyway, I am tired of caling/chatting and hope that someone can help me get it resolved.

Click the ATT Customer Care link in my signature, send the PM, explain your HBO/Cinemax upgrade situation.

Include your account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

Thanks Chris for your reply. I sent a PM. They and a couple other people tried helping, but still no luck. I guess I'm just destined not to get HBO!

I had just the opposite experience, called to check on my $150 gift card and the next thing I knew I had HBO/Cinemax added to my account without me authorizing it. Icing on the cake was I also received a promotion with the free stuff that lowered my overall bill on the U300 / HD I had, go figure.

By the way, i called to find out why it was added and the answer I receivced is they thought I would enjoy my bill being lowered and getting the additional movie channels.  I think i still have about 30+ days left then I probably will go back to my orginal U300 with HD.
