Help , Billing Nightmare
Final Bill was finally recevied on Jan2nd . After disconnecting in late November , no agent seemed to have the final bill . Received a bill for the wrong amount 12/30, called dear Erin could not tell me the final amount. Sent in $80.60Jan 19th . Now a collection company Diversified INCo calling night & day .ATT has had me on hold 24 minutes and then tranfereed me to the wrong operator . My new statement says the payment is due Jan 24. Please call off the collection agency , this seems to be your error. !!

Thank you again , I very nice girl responded very quickly found the phone number and showed the balance as O. She said collections will be notified.Thank you !

@debdeb24 Contact ATT Customer Care on the link in my signature below.
Send them a Private Message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your final bill problems.
Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.
Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. They can do more than any phone rep and stick w/it till it's done. Good luck 😉

Thank you , I'll try that. ATT accepted the payment , but today the Collection letter came.
Ridiculous, customer service,We'll see if ATTresponds.

Hi debdeb24,
You better check your credit report for any derogatory entries from ATT. When a creditor sends an account to collections there usually is a late payment(s) reported. You can get a free annual credit report from each of the major credit agencies. Go to ftc.gov and follow the instructions for your free credit report.
