How can I connect with a customer service rep in the United States?
There seems to be something lost in communication when I speak with your reps overseas. I've had 3-4 calls with AT&T reps in other countries and I no longer wish to deal with them. The one call I had with a rep in the US was a pleasure to speak with. I want that experience because I'm in need of making a 5th call to TRY and remedy the same original complaint. Each call lasts around 40 minutes and is quite exhausting.
HELP!

Oh, and thanks for the huge cut and paste job, not impressed, guess your employer has an already typed out form letter handy for responses on issues like this and affraid to answer with their own thoughts, corporate mindless mumbo jumbo and as usual. Next you'll be telling me you donate to the homeless, save puppies and kiss babys to make you look good in the public eye.

How funny that their solution is to ignore the issue and offer you one of the only 13 jobs they have but only if you can move to California, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin. They say there are US reps but not once did they offer a phone number to any of them? hahahaha....... And if they sell to people in every state why aren't their jobs in every state? 13 available jobs with a multi million dollar company? Somethings rotten in Denmark people!

Thanks KTP. Seems like everyone in the US feels the same, too bad AT&T doesn't care what we think, just keeps taking our money. Did you notice one of their responses?
Hey @alwaysbroken, We have received your private message and look forward to working with you to get this sorted.
I bet she/he never got it sorted or wrote them a private message, probably sent her to another foreign call center lol. Notice how quick they were to try to take it offline and not respond in the public eye? Listen up AT&T, we all have the same question........so answer it! What are the direct phone numbers for US call centers????

I agree Angry-in-USA! Maybe we should post this conversation feed on Twitter and Facebook and see if it goes viral, maybe then they'd pay attention to their customers! 😮

Att is vile 6 calls, still outsourced with no transferring to a US agent as per usual the LAW/FTC. My family's 30 companies and thousands of employee are dumping Att. They get a bonus for leaving an outsourcing company. Disgusting. Goodbye.

I'm having the same issues! I'm thinking of leaving AT&T. This is the same complaint we are all having and yet they don't care. We are what has made this company and yet they don't care! As my elders always said "They are getting too big for their own britches"!! If you know what I mean. It's really sad. Why do they outsource there customer service? They brag they speak any language you have the need for, yet just speaking a chopped up version of English don't make you an American. I don't want to speak to a person over seas that thinks that because they try to speak English that makes then understand what I'm talking about! The translation is totally lost!! I ask to speak to a US representative and they give me a foreigner that is trying to talk American and claiming he is in the USA therefore I should understand him. Then he claims he is in New York that makes him a US representative. I'm not trying to speak to a person that wants to pick a fight with me,and or that thinks he can out wit me by claiming he's a "us representative". What dose it really take to get past these rude, non understanding foreign people in my own country??
Feeling like it's time to find another company to do business with really saddens me. After all of these years I have been with AT&T doing all of my of my services with: home phone, Internet, cable, upgrading to U-verse, and even to cell phones. I know the other choices aren't as good but my business could help them grow to be as good! After all AT&T didn't start out on top it took all of us making choosing them as service providers to get them this BIG! Sincerely Sad!

Not true. I'm actually on the phone (on hold) to a rep in the Phillipines. I asked how to reach a US rep and they told me it was completely random. And yes, communication is lost when speaking with the reps not in OUR country. SHAME ON AT&T FOR OUTSOURCING!!!

And here I am trying to get NEW service. At present, I've been on the phone with a rep from the Phillipines for 20 minutes. She has YET to give me a price because I've been on hold for most of that time.
