How can I file a complaint?

I have been a loyal ATT U-Verse/Internet customer for over 2 years! Although during this time I had many ups and downs with ATT, I did remain a loyal customer.

 

After the two years, my bill increased from 130 to over 170 USD. I then asked ATT for a discount. After numerous phone calls with customer service and retention department no one was willing to give me a better deal to retain me as a loyal customer. So I canceled my services to sign up again as a brand new customer in order to get some of the discounts which new customer do get. This in itself is very disappoiting.

 

After all, I signed up with U300 / Fox Soccer PLus HD, Internet 45 for a promised monthly charge of 114.99 plus tax (euqals to 136.96USD). Although this is already a pretty high price, I agreed to it.

 

After I signed up the painful journey started. I tried to schedule for a technicial to come out for the installation. I managed to get a time scheduled where my partner would be at home (as I was out of town during that week). We have "take shoes off policy" at home due to hygiene and traditions... my partner asked the technician to take off his shoes .. however the guy refused this and explained he would have to go in and out multiple times and this would be cumbersome ... as my partner is a non-confrontational and a not so outspoken young female she did not insist or argue with him to avoid issues. The techician simply did not respect the rules and started walking all over the house in his dirty work boots creating a big mess. After all he was nearly 4 hours in the house going into every room, attic and around the house. My partner questioned him why he had to go in each room and why this was so complicated as we were already 2 years customers before and there was nothing to be done but just hook up the devices. In the past installation never took longer than 30-45 minutes. The guy ended up cutting of neighbours internet and after 4 hours he finally managed to get the work done. This was a very upsetting experience. We had to clean the entire house to get the dirt off the floors and rugs.

 

Before and after the installation i received multiple "order confirmations" with completely different and false numbers. Firstly, the Fox Soccer Plus HD was missing and Internet 24 instead of 45 showed under "my package" as well as the bill was 158 USD instead of 136 USD as multiple discounts were not applied. Finally a 300 USD reward card was also not showing up which was promised to me.

 

I called in multiple times to get this fixed and each time i was promised it is fixed. But each "order confirmation" email showed incorrect numbers again.

I have 4 chat transcripts with different people and talked to 2 managers and at least 4-5 customer reps ... and the bill not is even higher 162 USD.

 

I am extremely stressed by this and just can't take it anymore. [Per Guidelines:  Keep it Relevant and Appropriate].

 

Can someone give adivce on what else can be done here? This is ridicilous, bad business practice and very very shameful to treat people like this.
