HI @Qi561, we are happy to help.

AT&T claims are handled through Sedgwick, our claims administrator.

File a new claim

If you need to file a new claim, have the following information available:

  • Location – The physical address or GPS coordinates for the location where damage occurred.
  • Photos – Include close-ups and wide views of the area damaged. If possible, include photos of the person, vehicle, or equipment that caused the damage. Photos can be from cameras, cell phones, or other devices.

Once you have the information together, call 1-800-288-2020 and ask to file a new claim.

If an AT&T representative has given you a claim number and you haven’t heard anything in 24 hours, or you’ve already filed a claim and want to follow up, call 855.462.6537 to check the status.

If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!

Horrible Answer! This answer just puts you in automated attendant mail system and the people are not familiar with property damage.  They are familiar with SELLING AT&T products.   They sent me to this number 800-246-8464 which was yet another automated attendant mail system.

This is the worst thing one can do when you have already damaged someone's property.

Show a total lack of care for what could be your customers!

Highly disappointed!

Same thing is happening to me.  I have spent a month talking to representatives and no one has a clue.  My roof was badly damaged by installation of dish. Water damage is in the thousands.  What recourse do we have?

AT&T dug up our front yard to our building to run new cable the contractor digging  hole  busted my sprinker system.  When I called and complained they sent a contractor to fill in hole without fixing the problem.  I need someone to respond as soon as possible

AT&T dug up my neighbor's lawn and damaged the sprinkler system.  Nothing has been done and it's a mess.  How can we get someone to come out and repair the damage caused by AT&T?

AT&T crew came out digging in my yard - fiber optics.   Now sewer backing up -- had to come back twice to clear line -- scoped the line-- top of pipe is broken off and blocking line RIGHT WHERE AT&T RAN ITS LINE -- It's flagged.

TRYING TO CALL AT&T ABOUT THIS IS A PAIN IN THE BUTT.  finally get an agent - agent says he'll transfer to Risk Mgmt.  Agent transfers back to main number and same rigamarole happens FOUR MORE TIMES.  oNE OF THEM TRIES TO SELL ME SERVICE AFTER I ADMANTLY DEMAND THE CORRECT DEPARTMENT!!!

After I am on the phone over half hour I get Risk Mgmt VOICE MAIL telling me to leave number and info and IF I DON'T THEY WON'T RESPOND.

I AM SUING AT&T  --

The following phone number are of no use:

800-288-2020

800-246-8464

800-894-0374

855-528-4736

I have a ticket number, but cannot find anyone to assist with it.

Last number tried 855-365-4976 no one responds

Also www.mysedgwick.com does not answer.

All above give you the run around. ATT deliberately avoids conversations for property damage claims and makes it hard so people will give up.

That is also my experience. There is NO way to file a claim for property damage.

I have spent whole days trying.

I think we need to report to our state district attorneys and ask what recourse we have.

I actually spoke with them 6 weeks ago and I received a ticket number. But now I cannot get anyone to return a call or even acknowledge. Maybe call attorney general for assistance.

This has been the worst experience with At&t! There was damage done to my property and I have called 8 times and each time they answer and transfer me to someone else. I have yet been able to make a claim. I'm not even a AT&T customer and thier employees came on to my property and dug a massive hole on my front lawn without my permission. The neighbor was the one getting work done. I asked them to stop and they continued I had to get a supervisor out to my property but he was no help either (Javier). This is unacceptable that someone can come on to your property and destroy you lawn like that. To top it off he said he would do a claim yet didn't give me any number or confirmation. You can't get of hold of anyone and when you do they want to sell you services. At this point I have called everyone number.

Once the administrator receives the information, they will assign it to a claims examiner. The examiner will generally contact you within 3-5 business days to discuss the report and get additional information.
