HOW TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER
I recently spent 1.5 hours being transferred to 6 different employees in an attempt to cancel my AT&T Uverse/Internet/Direct TV on 10/21. This is after I already spent 3 horrible hours thinking I cancelled my service on 10/19 ( due mostly because the Direct TV rep they sent to my house almost got in a physical altercation with my neighbor over the placement of the dreaded satellite dish, and also proceeded to call my neighbor a Trump supporter.)
I was contacted by some lady on 10/21 from Direct TV saying they would like to reschedule my installation... although my ENTIRE account with AT&T was supposed to have been cancelled on 10/19. I was then transferred to Curtis, then Delanie, then Michael, and FINALLY Ana. After a short 53 minute conversation with Ana who was able to finally cancel my service (I hope). I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager... apparently they do not exist? I was put on hold for 12 minutes while attempting to get a confirmation number for the cancellation. I REFUSED TO HANG UP, even though I know they wish I did.
Not once did they offer to make amends for ANY of the nightmare I had been through, although Ana claims her manager helped her with everything, I was never able to speak to said manager
Don’t worry after all of this they were finally able to offer me a discount on my original AT&T Uverse service if I decided I wanted to stay with them.....
So my question is: HOW IN GODS NAME CAN I GET CONTACT INFORMATION FOR A MANAGER AT AT&T ( Preferably in the Arizona office since I know that’s where most of this conversation happened)

ATT has the worst service ever. I have been trying to seek help for two months now and no one has gotten back to me. When i do call the customer service number, I got transferred to about 7 different people. I had to explain myself all over again each time. I'm so upset and i want someone with higher authority such as the News to investigate. I wonder how many people falls into the same mess as me!

The short answer? Everyone who is a customer with AT&T. The problem as with most monopolies is that Verizon is the same, so is xfinity, T-Mobile, and Sprint. They are all beyond terrible. You can threaten to take your business elsewhere but it truly doesn't matter one way or the other to them. Once in a decade you'll connect with someone who still cares and helps you out to finality but by then, the damage, inconvenience and frustration and disgust has been done. My story is similar to all the ones I've read, so there's no sense in getting into it here but, ultimately until it gets so bad that they make public offers of deals that are too good to pass up is when you begin to see that it is starting to hurt them in the pocket book. They'll never improve the service, period. They will only throw out promotions to make it worth putting up with terrible services. That's how they stay competitive. It's simple really. They feel they don't have to care!

Same. I did a upgrade 40 days ago online, fed ex supposed to bring it, they said it WAS delivered but wasnt!! I have spoken to 11 different cust svc. Ppl. Explain myself and what's going on each time and STILL NO ANSWER. I paid for my upgrade, I paid taxes on phone. I have 6 lines 3 phones&3 iPad air 2s on my account I also have direct TV service $1,000.00 a month I pay for service AND I GET THIS SAME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I am going to a attorney. I am being charged for a device I dont have and nobody will help me

I ordered upgrade a month ago online FedEx was supposed to have delivered it said it was delivered but it in fact was not I have had the run around between FedEx and AT&T since then I am being charged for something I do not have I paid to upgrade early and I paid the taxes on the phone online as well I haven't even been reimbursed for my money which is $200 for just that between AT&T and DirecTV I pay a lot of money a month I have six lines on my AT&T account three of which are phones and three are devices and this is the kind of f****** customer service I get I will be getting an attorney!!!

My Wifi has been out 11 days. Now home phone and DSL out after automated check!
There have been 4 no show tech calls. More details but like everyone else, you can’t get to someone with authority. This is beyond ridiculous. *****

THIS IS WHY AND HOW
TODAY I SPENT 4 HOURS (NOT EXAGGERATING) WILL SEND SCREEN SHOT OF PHONE CALL.
AT&T PHONES BEING SOLD TO SUPPLIERS AKA - WALMART, AT&T STORES, TARGET AND OTHER RETAILERS. ARE ALL SELLING PHONES UNAPPROVED BY AT&T THEMSELVES TO OPPORATE CORRECTLY ON THE NETWORK (TOWERS) FOR A DATA CONNECTION. (CALLS AND TXT STILL WORK.

You can find devices that we directly sell and that are guaranteed to work on our network here.
These outside devices are tested and approved for our network, though in some cases, you may need to program the APN settings for data to work. Unfortunately however, we cannot guarantee the compatibility of devices we do not sell.

I understand but my phone is labeled AT&T so how is it an outside device and f this is a known issue why is AT&T branding products that do not work this is consumer fraud
