I did not get what I was promised!!!!
I originally called in to cancel my services because the bill was too high... I was transferred to the save department to a rep named "Al" out of the Texas call center who told be he had the perfect promotion to bring my bill down and offered me Phone, Internet and Tv for $99. We were on the phone for 45 min and we discussed this in detail.... He quoted me $60 for the tv, $30 for the internet and $10 for the home phone and "ASSURED" me that my new bill would be $108 and some change out the door including taxes... So I decided to stay with them. He broke this deal down into detail for me. This was back in January, and the bills I've received since are in excess of $140.
I have called repeatedly to get what I was promised and have been put on hold, lied to, transferred to another rep instead of a manager, told I would get a call back from a manager which NEVER happen. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved.. I even had a manager on the phone and spend good time on the phone with him...who was very apologetic and asked me if he could put me on hold to apply the credits to my account to compensate for what I was promised and as soon as I was put on hold, I was transferred back to a reg. rep to start all over. I was then transferred to another manager and finally to the save department and spoke with Amy who told me that she could not honor what I was told because the rep that promised me that did not note the account with that offer... Are they serious???
How can then do this to people. I am on a fixed income and called to cancel because I could NOT afford the bill amount as it kept creeping up and the bill ended up being the same it has always been in the end. When I asked Amy for the number for corporate she advised me she could not give me the number and that they do not have it...that it is "blacked out" in their system and I would have to try and find in online...she told me to "Google it" This is horrible business and horrible customer service. I can not believe a word that comes out of Att/Uverse service rep's mouths!!! They are liars and will lie to get you to keep their service and lock you into a contract and then not give a CRAP about what happens after that...
I'm so ANGRY! I can not afford this bill... I am still looking for a place to file a real complaint with resolution. Anyone know where I can go. Not getting much when I google "Att corporate" ---Angry customer. I will NEVER go back with ATT again after this is all said and done... I'm DONE! They've lost my business and I will write a review to let others know what a bad company and a bunch of liars they are.
