I was >>CHEATED<< by ATT

Today I received very rude reply from ATT cutomer service and retention dept.

on 2nd Mar 2015 I called up for my increased bill and then the retention dept. agent agreed to give me 18mbps speed for $28/month with no annual contract. The increase in speed was immediately reflected to my account but after few days I saw that the billing rate was not reflected.

So I called again on 16th Mar 2015 to confirm about what the previous agent agreed. The agent told me that the previous agent on 2nd Mar gave me wrong information and we can not give you $28 per month. We can give you $31/month for 18mbps. Somehow I managed to pay $31/month then the agent said you are now in contract for 1year with $31/month.

So here I have been fooled/ Cheated by ATT agents. They mean that I was lying that $28/month has been comminted to me. There is no way that they can make it $28

 

This is a cheap business practice.

I dont mind paying $3 extra but they are making me go into contract and saying that I was lying.

 

I dont know how ATT does business when they gave false information to customer.

 Since this is account specific I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the AT&TCustomerCare customer service team. They will reply back with a PM (blue envelope in the top right of the page). Their normal business hours are from 7am to 10pm Central Time.

I agree. I was con'd into signing up for a two year contract for full service. I have been round and round with them since october. My bill was supposed to be 136/mnth. I have yet to be billed for less than 150. After may last call an Jan I was assured by Ringo my bill would not be above 155.00. Today I received my bill for 180. I am done with AT&T 

 

I'll never refer this poor service to anyone. I can't wait to get rid of them and go back to a more reliable and consistent provider.
