Internet Bait and Switch

I am so upset, after many years with AT&T we had to cancel our TV & Phone service and keep our internet. I called to ask what they could do about the price, a nice lady name Vanessa said she could give me Internet for $47.00 a month on 2/19/16 which was the end of our contract with them. We get our bill and they are charging me $67.00 a month. I call Cindy and she tells me oh no it is $67.00 a month, I said I have the e-mail from At&t saying it will be $47.00 she then tell me it is wrong. You mean Vanessa lied to me!!!! oh no not a lie, yes a lie!!!! Then you bait and switch the price on me after I sign up for 1 year "how dare you do this to a Senior Citizen! Here is what I received, I will notify who ever I can about this practice with At&t. I have no idea why At&t have lowered theirself to this practice, they use to be such a fine company. Also Cindy said it was because I have Max Plus now, as you see this bill is for Max Plus and it's $47.00!!!!!

 I am not talking about anything online or a online deal! I have no idea what you are talking about. We cancelled TV & Phone service and kept Internet and was told it would be $47.00 a month per Vanessa. Per the copy of the e-mail I posted above from her. When I got the new bill it is now over $60 a month, I called got a rude lady name Cindy who told me it was wrong, not wrong I wrote down everything Vanessa said to me, I am 65 and I alway write down word for word what is told to me, I learned a lesson early on in life! They broke the contract with me, and outright lied to me about the price, I want something done about this I have been a customer for many many years. I do not deserve this treatment. Please find someone who can resolve this matter for me, thank you kindly.

@sassykat50   Contact ATT Customer Care on the link in my signature below.

Send them a Private Message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your billing problems. Many times these are answered by FB/Twitter Soc Media Managers, available late nites, weekends.

 

Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply, possibly by email instead. They can do more than any phone rep and stick w/it till it's done. Good luck 😉
