Is this legit?
We're looking to combine our services so we have one bill each month. In order to do so we need to bundle them.
We've been told by ATT (we called them) that this is possible by bundling everything under our Uverse accoutn.
About a week ago we started getting calls about arranging this but from a company that is called TRG Marketing. Research shows they are in Pakistan.
The phone number they provided for call back is 877-****.
When I called ATT to verify that this company was working on their behalf, I could not get any verification.
Furthermore, I was informed by Uverse tech support that our Uverse internet could not support phone service as it is too slow.
No, we don't want to upgrade our internet. Its more than adequate for what we need.
I called TRG back and expressed my concerns about the speed issue which they brushed aside.
Today I received an e-mail from **** stating that we would be contacted in the next two days about our "status".
I need to know if the e-mail address is legit. Reseach simply pulls up references to wikileaks and some "legacy" program.
I need to know if TRG is legit.
Thank you for your help

@Bookit Who do you get when you call that # back?
Searching on Bing get alot of TRG companies.
See if ATT Customer Care can tell you more about this, click the ATT Customer Care link in my signature, send the PM, explain your TRG situation.
Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.
Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

When we call the number, there is a short automated greeting followed by a human.
I believe they state their name to be "TRG Marketing, ATT" but I am not certain of that.
I spent about two hours last night bouncing through ATT Customer Service, Uverse Customer Service, Uverse Tech Support, Uverse Billing, Fraud and back to ATT Customer Service and none of them could supply any information on any business partners.
From what I can tell, TRG sounds legit but after dealing with them on the phone, they do not have customer service in mind, simply sales.
So, I do need to find out what upload/download speed is needed for Uverse to support phones (voip)
