Is this proper protocol when met with exposure to social media?

I recently chatted with a rep online in an attempt to get a longer extension on bringing my account current.  I write this with full knoweldge that yes, they already granted an extension and no, they are not required to grant extensions.  

 

I only write this because I subscribe to the largest package possible, rent movies every month, including at least one pay-per-view per year and internet.  Although have been out of work for over a year while focusing on my education, I eek by and keep the service active because its a primary source of entertainment for the family at this time.

 

So, after a recent chat explaining my situation and that I am starting a new career in January, I asked for a bit more time to get caught up.  The response was sorry, we already gave an extension and the manager says they can't help.  So, I asked the rep if I could have his managers name and station so I could share my experience on my rather large social netowrk and not 2-seconds later the chat ended...wow, that was so obvious... Below is the screenshot of my chat and you can see the ending of the chat at the very bottom.

@rooster-sd Click the ATT Customer Care link in my signature, send the PM, explain your needed extension situation.

 

Include your account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉
