locked out of My AT&T account
I have apple tv and it is asking me to verify my tv provider. I go to abc.com/activate, type in verification code, select my tv provider, then directed to att.com to log in to my account. After typing in my credentials, it is telling me they are invalid (which they are not). So, I re-set my password by answering security questions. It says the update was successful. Complete the same steps again that I listed above. Once again, tells me my credentials are wrong. I call AT&T support and explain my situation. They verify all my account information is correct and confused as to why I cannot access my account when logging in. I was then transfered to a support team that specializes in re-setting passwords. They too verified all my account information was correct. They tried to help over the phone but were unsuccessful. They created 3 temporary passwords for me to try entering, but all failed. Now I am locked out of my account. The gentelman was polite, but left me with no solution. He was just as confused as I was as to why I cannot access my account. I am wondering if I am going to have to create a new account? Will it even let me since my account # is already associated with my user ID that I am locked out of? Anyone else exprienenced this problem? If so, how did they fix your problem?

Hi @scjackson3,
Sorry to read of the trouble you are having. Please make sure you are using the att.net email address that was created when you were first installed. Some members use a Yahoo or Gmail account and they will not work. Also, if you do not have a U-verse TV subscription, you will not be able to stream U-verse content.
