Looking to get switched to 32/5 profile
I am currently signed up for U300 and Max Plus, but I'm disappointed that watching TV decreases my internet speed. I'm not sure why I wasn't eligible for power as my modem stats for max sustainable rate are 67/13 and I'm ~2000 ft from the VRAD according to customer service. Anyways I am on the 25/2 profile and would like to get changed to the 32/5 profile so I can watch television without decreasing internet performance. I am absolutely striking out with chat sessions lasting 60+ minutes and them not really sure what I am requesting. Please help.

I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the ATTU-verseCare Community Specialist team. One of the specialists will respond to your PM shortly. Please look for the flashing envelope at the top right of the page for your response from a team member.
Let them see if your eligible for that profile and if so they should be able to change it for you.

U-verse Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team to help you resolve your request. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope
will appear in the upper right hand corner of this site, next to your name and avatar) in a business day or three.
This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end (instead of forgetting about it when the phone hits the cradle). Speed things up by including your Billing Account Number, and the best time and way to reach you.
The main issue you may run into is that AT&T policy requires they send someone out to be sure the line can really support 32/5. However, you're not proposing any additional revenue to support this truck roll. So... maybe you'd be interested in offering to try an upgrade to 24/3 HSI?

Thank you I have sent a PM to the account earlier. My reports on the 589s status page are very solid, I'm sure the line is capable. This is more of a retention issue for me; I just switched to U-verse from Bright House Networks. I was unaware that watching TV immediately handicaps my available internet bandwidth. I just got installed yesterday, if they're not willing to send a truck (if that's even necessary) then I'll have to go crawling back to cable. Thanks for your responses.

It's amazing the significant details that people will omit from their posts. If you just got installed, then by all means call your installer and ask for the 32/5 profile.
