We would love to help you with your local stations, Jroth007

We first need to ask, "How you are viewing your local stations?" The reason why we are asking is that if you are streaming off the app on a mobile device, it could be that your "location services" as been turned off. Streaming is a Geolocation service. That means it needs to know the location of the device in order to provide the local stations and correct RSN's or Regional Sports Networks.

If you are viewing your local stations on your receiver, then it could possible be a problem with your router. We can provide troubleshooting steps for that too. Here are the steps: Warning these steps will cause all services to be disabled

  1. Press and hold the gateway Reset button for at least 10 seconds. If you let go before 10 seconds, the gateway will reboot, but it won’t reset.
  2. Wait until the gateway restarts and all the status lights are lit.
  3. See if the Broadband or Service status lights are solid green. If so, the reset worked.

Next, Let's reboot your receiver:

  • Many receiver problems can be fixed by restarting your receiver. To do this, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds. This takes 5-8 minutes and will impact any DVR recordings in progress. If you have multiple receivers, reboot your wireless gateway by unplugging it from its power source. Wait a few minutes, then plug it back in.

You can also use or Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool directly on your TV: Here are the steps to find it:

  1. Press Menu on the U-verse Remote Control.
  2. Scroll down to Help, then press OK.
  3. Select Information.
  4. Scroll to Troubleshoot & Resolve, then press OK.
  5. Select the area you want to troubleshoot.
  6. Allow the interactive diagnostic test to run and complete.
  7. Follow the onscreen instructions to attempt to resolve the issue online. Other options may include dispatching a technician or speaking to a Customer Care agent.

You can find out the information and more by using the our awesome support articles entitled: Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool on your U-verse TV and Troubleshoot a wired U-verse TV receiver.
