I am sorry for your loss.  Mods have been notified of the personal info you posted.  This is a public board and that's dangerous.  That info will be deleted.

Call CS 1-800-288-2020 and inquire but I'm afraid without a password you won't get far.  You could also contact ATT Customer Care via a Private Message.  Include all info you have (name/address/account number/etc.) You may have to mail a death certificate at some point in time.  It will take awhile to get it straightened out but don't worry about any bills that may come.

Hi I am sorry  for the loss Sir/ Maam. Please refrain from posting any Sensitive Information (BAN , ADDRESS, CODES) in the future security purposes.

I would suggest for you to seek assistance instead to any closest ATT Retail Store in the area instead of calling the 1-800-288-2020 to save time. The reason is all of the representative whichever department it may be wont be able to access or proceed further without you verifying the 4 digit passcode or the answer to the security question.

Please make sure to bring with you the BAN and two (2) valid IDs for identification and they will help you authenticate the account. The retails store reps could also assist you in connecting the call to the Cancellation Department. Hope this helps. 🙂

While the OP may make inquires at an ATT store, I would warn against taking any equipment to a retail store.  That needs to be done via UPS.

Yes, local AT &T Retail store, was able to get us in touch with the billing department to get the account closed out. We took all the equipment to UPS and they boxed it up and shipped it back to AT&T for us. Thank you for your help.

My last piece of advice:  Put the receipt from UPS in a safe place.  I've never had a problem but others have posted that ATT claimed that equipment was not received and the tracking number is invaluable.
