my complaint. i renewed with uverse in december

i renewed with uverse in december of 2016 for a fair price.  Since that time i have received a bill that is higher than my original bill.  After consulting with at&t over the problem, they denied fthat what was on the confirmation email was correct. I have it in black and white in front of me what the agreed price would be.  Their solution was to help me out with a discount.  I received the newest at&t confirmation and it is still 10 dollars higer than the oringinal agreement from december.  And to my alleged not understanding the original email confirmation, the new one is identical except for higher prices.  At&t should stand up to the original agreement.  It is an email from at&t and it is a confirmation of price..  I am sick and tired of their run around.  Very very disappointed with At&t. Can someone tell me how to get above customer service and talk to higher ups?

I am dealing with the same issue, and am going to speak to "customer loyalty today." I don't understand how they can get away with this - it happens every year? I have to call them 2-3 x to get what I originally agreed to in Decemeber! I will complain to the Better Business Bureau. You have it in black and white so it is illegal for them to change it on you.

I spoke with the "customer loyalty" department today and supposedly they straightened it out (I'll believe it when I see my bill next month or my new contract online).  Call and speak to someone in that department - they should homor your original agreement. Just stand firm with your evidence.

Customer loyalty now says that the original December renewal was in error on their part. They have worked with me but still have not met the December contract numbers. I always thought what was written was binding. It is like dealing with car sales people. Not happy at all, and I am bound to them for a year even though they have not met the original deal. It was their mistake, they should honor it.
