My DVR has been deleting recordings

My DVR has been deleting recordings. The problem has been going on for over 3 months. I’m my 4th new DVR have had the modem replaced and a technician has been here. The recordings are still deleting in their own. It’s not a space issue because I only have 4 shows recorded and then they are gone.  I have had Uverse since it started and love it but I’m about to leave.  No reason to pay for something I’m not getting. 😡😡💔.

If anyone has any advice I will try anything.  Customer service just wants to send another DVR.

Hi @Glicker, thanks for reaching out, we’re happy to assist with your recordings.

If you’ve gone through 4 replacements already then there may be something in the home affecting the DVR or possibly an issue with the gateway.

  • Double-check all power and cables connections on the DVR and Gateway to ensure all are connected securely.
  • Even if you already have tried a restart of one of these, unplug the AT&T Gateway, the DVR, and any other Uverse TV Receiver.
    • Once all are unplugged, re-plug them in this order Gateway>DVR>Receivers
  • Plug both the DVR and the gateway directly into a wall outlet, bypass any power strip, or surge protector. Sometimes interference can be generated by these devices.

Please let us know if this does the trick or if any further help is needed.
