Well I should have been told that I had 24 hours to sit up all night and check out all the channels to make sure they were in the 1080 format. I had the same guy come back and tell me that it was the way most of the channels are. 480p I am just so mad at this. Why can't they at least give you a trial period! But I guess that's their way of scammng you out of 460$ the legal way. And most people can't afford to just throw that kind of money away.

There used to be a "30 day money-back guarantee" when signing up for Uverse but I'm not sure that's still the case.

Menu > Options > System > TV Screen Resolution. Choose1080i.
Make sure your TV itself is set at 1080i, also.

Yeah...I wondered about the specifics. Uverse to DirecTV? Direct to Uverse? Changing from one package to another?
Many times all we can do is speculate and assume....and you know what they when you 'assume' something.
