My sprinkler line was broken during digging in my neighborhood.

I don't have a package name. Guys said they were AT&T contractors laying fiber optic cable, came onto our property without asking, used heavy machine laid atop plywood, dissapeared without finishing neighborhood. Today sprinkler repairman had to replace broken pipe underneath where heavy machine lay. Is AT&T willing to reimburse us sprinkler repair cost?
