On Demand charges
My 8 year old son figured out my passcode to the ON DEMAND on the tv and charged all kinds of movies to my account and i called to get assistance but nothing can be done as they cant tell if the movies were watched or just clicked on and charged to my account. The bills are over $300.00 in charges and i have called and spoke to them but they will not do anything.
WARNING - do not let your children click ON DEMAND at all. the passcode was the same as my phone code and he tried it, and so now my bill is very high. My son is 8 years old and now i have a very high bill that should not be mine. They will not take off these charges as they cant tell if they were watched or just clicked on. should not be charged for this - no help at all fromchat support or on the phone.
Wait I was given A $10 credit *****

Contact ATT Customer Care on the link in my signature.
Send them a private message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your on demand charge problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time (also around on weekends), response may take up to 2 business days.
This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done and gone above and beyond for me.
Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.
Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉
Chris

Am I missing something? I have read your complaint twice and do not understand why AT&T should have to eat the charges for your sons action. You might trying calling and instead of blaming AT&T try to negotiate a settlement on a reduced amount. I do not know that AT&T will reduce the amount owed but you stand a better chance of them reducing the amount owed if you accept responsiblity for your son. Understand they have to pay a fee to the owner of the movie everytime you order on demand so do not get mad at AT&T.

..I've had charges for OnDemand that we have not watch also. This must make ATT lots of $$$ for illegally charging people something for they didn't watch. Most people don't check if there are extra charges, and I'm sure some get charged without them knowing.
