Paramount plus
U-Verse offered Paramount plus for free awhile back and I lost access just recently. AT&T support told me that Paramount plus was removed from the Showtime package that is includes in the U300 package. I was told that an email was sent to subscribers back in October explaining this and included an option to keep Paramount plus and that option expired after a few weeks. I don't believe that I ever received any email and I was told that I could not get Paramount plus back. I was also told that I could not get a copy of the email. I cannot find any information online about this service elimination, including on the AT&T website. Any information that I do find is that Paramount plus streaming service is available free to U-Verse subscribers. Did anyone else run into this problem?

Yes. Same exact response. I too have had u300 plan for over 8 years. I did not receive the email either to opt in. I actually looked at all my past emails and even restored every deleted email in 2025 and it was not there. They are lying. I also got the runaround with more excuses. 1) I did not opt in and now they can’t restore it 2) the contract between paramount uverse and paramount is cancelled 3) there is a problem with paramount. 4) only u450 plans now have access. 5). There is an undefined glitch in my account that they can’t find. Liars! How could I opt in if I was not even notified??? If they can opt me out then IT should be able to opt me in. This is an out and out devious way to cancel your services without notification. When I tried to login I get “ sorry, your uverse package does not give you access to paramount plus. Contact your provider”. One agent said if I want p+ then I should just buy it. Witch. This is so bad of AT&T to leave customers without any recourse. Why should I have to opt in to a service I already have? They Did NOT send any notification of pending changes. I can swear to that. I did find the email mentioning the addition of MGM but there was no mention of any opt in for paramount. Also, a good company will normally send at least one or even two reminder emails if you fail to act. There were none. This was blatant. Maybe we should call BBB or something. Who do we contact about this?? P+ access is included and I want it back!!!!

I lost access to Paramount Plus on 12/5/2025. I’ve had the U300 All inclusive package since 2011 when I got the service.
I did get the email that they talk about. It said if you want to keep Paramount Plus with Showtime, click here. I did that a couple months ago. I clicked on the link in the email and it took me to the ATT account page and I logged in, it said no further action needed as I already have Showtime. I always take screenshots.
I called over the weekend and customer service said it was an issue on Paramount’s end? I called again last night and they viewed my account and confirmed that I should be getting Paramount Plus with Showtime and that I’m not affected my the recent changes. I was even sent a text message from ATT confirming this. Then, I was transferred to another agent who was supposed to correct the issue. Instead she just kept reading from the email over and over. She had no clue and said I should be happy with MGM+. I’m beyond irritated!

Apologies for the incorrect responses you received. You can get it back by visiting PPlus w SHO U-verse TV, login with your U-verse credentials & select keep Showtime. This will reinstate SHOWTIME on your account w/in 1-2 days and access to Paramount+ app. Details mailed are below.
The P+ app access that changed on 12/5 is found and will be restored by12/10.
Your U-verse® TV channel lineup will be updated. Effective October 27, 2025, the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME premium channels will be removed from your U-verse TV U300 package. This channel line-up change will occur automatically, and there is no action required on your part. However, please note that this change will also remove your access to the Paramount+ app if you have signed in using your U-verse email account and password. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your service.
If you would like to continue receiving the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME premium channels, including access to the Paramount+ app at no additional cost, please visit PPlus w SHO U-verse TV and follow the provided instructions.
The good news is that starting on October 27, 2025, we will add the MGM+ channel (891-896/1891-1894 HD) to your U-verse TV account at no extra charge, providing you with more entertainment programming. This change also grants you access to the MGM+ app, which can be accessed using your U-verse email account(s) and password for authentication/sign-in.

That link you posted just logs me into my att account. There is nothing about keeping showtime. No link or even any mention of showtime. Btw. I am still getting paramount and showtime on my uverse box. Agents even sent me to att.com/help/iptv and it says you have showtime. No further action is needed. I never did receive that email you show. Now what.

Thank you for the update. I clicked on the link and it did the same thing as back in October. It says my plan doesn’t require changes at this time. No option to select to keep.

I get the same as the other two users above. No option to keep Showtime + . Also Showtime shows up on my TV guide menu as well it was never removed. Thanks for your quick response.

@LegacyUverse I'm guessing the Showtime channels (including Paramount+) is still available for someone with U-Verse and my guess might be U-450 or a la carte.
@UVTVguru Is this right?
U-300 and the Movie Pack now include MGM. Showtime is now only for U-450.

MySpotlessBrain.......how did you get it working again? The agent I spoke to today said it was only available to U450 plans, and for an extra $60/per month I could upgrade. I did try the link that UVTVGuru posted but I had no option to restart Showtime. It said "your uverse TV plan doesn't require changes at this time. " how did you get your login to change? Please give me some help here!
UPDATE Hey. Just tried to login directly on Paramountpluswithshowtime.com and put in my previously setup login. I clicked on connect with provider, (for the 10 millionth time) but voila! It asked me to verify and relogin. Now I have access again and all my avatars are the same as before. Thank you to whomever and everyone. Enough noisy wheels get the grease. Kudos to UVTUGuru! Don't know what you did but it worked.

I’m glad it’s working again for you! I didn’t do anything but kept trying periodically throughout the day.
My Paramount/Showtime channels don’t work on my U-Verse boxes. Not really a big deal. Just wondering if anyone else has the channels actives on their boxes?
