POOR/Scam -NOT SOLVED!!!! ****UPDATED: REMOVE GREEN MARK IT FAKE AS SOLVED - 7/19/19 ****
I can't believe the customer service is this poor. I don't really watch TV. So, I had a Basic TV service (only local channels) with Internet bundle several years ago and set up with the auto monthly payment. I got an email today saying my TV service fee will go up and charge +$23 more next month. So, I had to look up my account on ATT Website. I was shocked there is so little or no resources/information to compare different service plans/prices. Anything online services are unavailable or blocked for the user -couldn't change plan through online. I had to call three times t customer service and tried to live chat - they wasted my time. No one speaks English sufficient enough answering my simple question, even and couldn't understand my questions. If followed, couldn't answer my simple questions (each plan and its price)... Such POOR customer service!!! WOW!!! Remarkably, when my Basic TV service turned to U300 multiple channels by itself, WHEN? I have been paying this money??? Is this Scam?
As of 7/19/19, my TV channels only available as Basic, only local channels, BUT, my current monthly statements show as U300 - multiple channels HBO, etc.!!!! No doubt it is a scam! -Dangerous! It is a black hole. You can't change your plan or cancel. It is a scam, stealing your money sneakily. - watch out if your payment is auto-recurrent payment - They will/may change them by themselves
I looked up their ATT community forum today to post my concerns, after their customer service's failing services! Shocked, It was not only my story. Many people complained just like their stealing money like my case!
