Reduce current bill

I'm in need of lowering my bill. I've been paying close to $160 a month for u200 and Internet. Too much. When I call, I'm told only way to reduce my bill and retain services as is, to change to direct TV. I do not want a dish on my roof. Period. However, when I went on line and worked out the same services as a new customer, the total before fees and taxes equalled $80. Why can't they give me the same promos?

 

Next question...how much does basic cable cost?

When you called "them", who did you call?  Did you ask for "retentions"?  Try that?  Retentions can generally try to make deals to encourage you to stay with u-verse.  It won't be as good as a new customer but it's worth a try.

dont drop programing, switch to the provider they just purchased for these reasons exactly.

 

TV/ Internet on the Choice package witch is equivelent to the 200 you would be looking at

$110 / month guarenteed for 24 months, thats programing on 4 tvs. The ability to record 5 at a time or watch 1 while recording 4. 1 tb of storage.

I have made two call regarding the cost for your services, and a reduced cost was offered. I have been waiting for two days to receive an email to confirm the new monthly cost. I am shopping for a better cost and need confirmation on the new offer.

Today, I transferred wireless # 937-546-0052 to Sprint and will transfer 937-760-6607 to another carrier unless you offer me a better service fee.
I will also, shop for prices and services for the Digital Life Home Security.

 

 

I was told by an AT&T representative that although I am a long time customer, it is my responsibility to ask for reduced rates.
