Seriously?? Five, count 'em, five install dates that haven't happened
I've never experienced anything so frustrating as trying to get AT&T U-verse installed at my new house. We moved in on Mar 24, timing our move around the install date we were given of Mar 25. When the 25th rolled around, nobody called and nobody showed up. So I called back and got a new install date of Apr 8. Same thing - nobody called and nobody showed up. Then Apr 15. Same results. Then May 1. Same results. Then May 2. Same results. We've been in our house for 6 weeks with no TV, no internet, and no phone.
I've had 6 difference conversations with AT&T customer service (honestly, they should change the name) and each time they encounter errors with my address and promise me a new date. I've had 3 separate people (including 1 supervisor) promise to call me back, and none have done so.
Now I'm doing the one thing that I do best - using my PR experience to get the word out to the market, to the media...shout it from the mountain top...AT&T DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
