Taxes fees and ETC for uverse tv plus internet bundle

Ok before I sign up for the $65 bundle to add to my wireless...for uverse basic family TV and internet, plus $10 for a second receiver, I want to know REALLY, what will my monthly bill be with taxes fees etc? Am I looking at like $90 bucks for what started out as $75?

If I don't get tv i would just be getting the $35 internet to add onto my wireless account. Are there a ton of taxes and fees on that too?

I would say MINIMUM of $15 then upwards to between $20 & $25.  There are different fees/taxes/charges for each service.

For example, my TV (in Dallas mind you) has the following:

  1. Broadcast TV Surcharge
  2. Regulatory Video Cost Recovery Charge
  3. State Cost Recovery Fee
  4. TX Local Video Facilities Fee
  5. TV Local Video Service Franchise Fee
  6. TX Local Sales Tax
  7. TX State Sales Tax

Internet has just 3:
State Cost-Recovery Fee

TX Local Sales Tax

TX State Sales Tax

Uvoice (Phone) has:

  1. Admin Fee
  2. Federal Universal Service Charge
  3. Regulatory Cost Recovery charge
  4. State Cost RE\ecorery Fee
  5. TX Local 911 fee
  6. TX Municipal Right of Way Fee
  7. TX State 911 Equalization Fee

As you can see, it would be impossible to know every fee in every city in every county in every state.

Each city, county and state sets the taxes and in many cases the 'fees' that are charged.  Here in the Dallas area mine runs around $25 a month for all three services.  Some municipalities collect $x for TV and $xx for internet so it's tricky to try to give an exact amount but you could probably figure between $15 & $20 a month.

I spoke in chat with an att rep and she quoted me about 6 percent for taxes fees and no surcharges for my bundle. Which seems okay.

Gosh is that true no matter where you live or which bundle you get? I live chatted someone and she told me maybe 6% or around $6 bucks. I was pretty clear i was asking about taxes fees and surcharges.

If I just go with the internet added onto my wireless for $35, I suppose if I decide later to add uverse tv on i wouldn't get any special pricing.
