Tell me he was wrong

I was a uverse customer until 2/20/18, deleted phone service that day and tv on 2/22. The rep. I gave the delete tv order was such a flake I cannot be sure but believe he said the following. Your billing cycle ended 2/20 so your next bill will be for a full month then att will issue credit for the 28 days without phone and tv. To that I say no, do not even send such a bill as it will not be paid. I am almost 75 years young and may not live to see the credit honored.

AT&T bills a month in advance so what he said makes sense. 

 

You could just pay the part you think you owe and hope that the credit gets applied the next month.
