I have had service issues for 6 days and NO ONE AT AT& T I HAVE NO WORKING SECURITY SYSTEM, NO PHONE,no tv, and no internet. I am by myself at night with 2 children, one of which is handy cap and does not understand why he cannot watch his cartoons. AT&T has lied and promised me priority service. I have finally been sent an inside tech after 4 long days. It had just started working on its own again and the tech came in, changed all of my wiring and boxes and left me last night with ALL 3 of my services OUT OF SERVICE AGAIN ! IT WAS WORKING WHEN HE ARRIVED! Now I am back on a waiting list for an outside tech. NO IDEA when they may arrive. Have had several people lie and tell me someone would be out shortly. Have seen no one. After several phone calls today the last conversation was. "Mam why are you telling me this. What am I suppose to do." He could not tell me why my ticket has been put on "hold". I wanted an explanation after all this time why THEY TOOK DOWN MY SERVICE AND CANNOT TELL ME WHEN THEY WILL BE BACK. MY BILL IS AND AL WAYS H AS BEEN CURRENT. HE SAID "I DON'T KNOWS WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO. YOU ARE TOP PRIORITY IN THE MORNING AFTER THE PEOPLE BETWEEN TODAY AND YOU SOMETIME TOMORROW. And h ed had the nerve to hang up on me. AT & T IS PUTTING MY FAMILY IN DANGER BY DISABLING MY SECURITY SYSTEM, THAT WAS WORKING BEFORE THE TEC TOOK IT OUT OF SERVICE AND NO ONE CARES!!!!!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL THESE people with no brains WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR DEDIT/CREDIT CARD #. AFTER THAT THEY DON'T CARE! WHEN I GET OUT OF THIS I WILL NEVER USE NOR RECOMMEND THEM. I AM IN CUSTOMER SERVICE MYSELF AND I WILL DEFINATELY DELIVER MY DISCUST TO EVERY ONE THAT I CAN! IF I TREATED MY CUSTOMER THE WAY I HAVE BEEN TREATED BY ATT I WOULD NO LONGER HAVE A JOB. COMPLETELY DISCUSTED! !!!!!

Every time I call att it is a dreaded experience! They all lie, never do what they say, but expect you to continue paying your bill even when the "conviently" forgot to again schedule a tech when promised... And sorry there r no notes on the acct and no techs in the area, even though I can look out my door and see one standing at the meter box! Ugh. Worst customer experience ever.

 FYI: You do have 30 days to cancel your service without penalty. As well if you have Uverse Voice (VOIP), it's quite possible you will have issues with your security system being able to call out.

I have had the service for more than 30 days.  Hope they are ready to give me an out of the contract.  Promised AGAIN that they will be here this morning.   Giving them until noon and I WILL be contacting all local TV media for a consumer story.  Found out last night that I am one of three just in my family this week having similar issues.  I will not be without services for another day.  Calling Charter after I call local news stations.  They DO NOT DESERVE MY BUSINESS!!!!!
