TV bill has skyroketed!

Hi,

I have a TV, internet and home phone bundle over the last few months the TV portion of my bill has gone up by 60% with another increase looming.  I understand the CEO stance but a 60% increase is a bit much, times are tough for everyone and many of us are out of work.  Can anything be done? ATT streaming? a promotion to ease the increase?

Thank you, Stay safe

sounds like promotions have ended,  when that happens your expected to pay what everyone else pays after promotions for the final 12 months, during promotions they are operating at a loss yes times are tough for everyone so its up to us to adjust programming to fit in our budgets. directv still has to pay its bills ,pay the networks, employees etc. and get no relief from their bills due to the virus

60%?? I’m not on a contract and have been with U-verse for many years.  Was promised last year if I switched to fiber I would not see an increase until November 2020.  I don’t have directv.  I very seriously doubt that att has had to solely brunt the loss due to economic times.  I have nothing but love and respect for you and wish you good health, safety and peace.

Call CS 1-800-288-2020 and ask for Retentions to see if then can offer you anything.  Will it be the same discount as before?  Probably not since they're phasing Uverse out and it doesn't bother them to lose a Uverse customer.

They might (big "might") be able to offer you a discount on AT&TTV or DirecTV.  The decision will be yours.  Just remember that if you leave Uverse, you cannot come back as they are no longer offering it.
