Unlimited Data

I received a card stating I would have unlimited data starting May 23rd but my account has not been updated. I called at the time and they said I did not have to do anything, it would be automatic and I see from other postss the cards went to everyone. It is not my fault you sent the cards in error but I called yesterday and the rep said I had to pay 30.00 if I have Uverse and Wireless but I could switch to Direct TV and get it. YOu own both companies so it should apply to both.

Do you have uverse tv? If you do, you have unlimited data. The postcard said if you have tv service you don't need to do anything. Log in to your att account and look at your usage history. If you haven't exceeded your included data over the last few months, don't even worry about it. Att will notify you if you approach your limit but won't start billing for overages until I think July.

I do have Uverse TV and on my acocunt it still states that I have the 3GB plan. I have not gone over because I keep my data off since my other lines use 2.8 and come close. So it is only unlimited until July? that is only 2 months?

@babybug00 Keep checking your account.  Mine didn't say "Unlimited" until a day or two ago.  Now it shows:

Don't panic...if you have either Uverse TV or DirectTV bundled, you have unlimited data.

The words of a commissioned sales person trying to sell you on a DirecTV upgrade.  Ignore that advice.  As others have posted, UverseTV gets you unlimited.

Actually can see more than 1 yr of monthly usage on the Usage page from the pulldown bill cycle dates there. Smiley Surprised
