Are you talking about unlimited on your Uverse Internet or unlimited on your cellular plan? If you are talking about your cellular plan, having Uverse tv makes you eligible for the unlimited cellular plan but you don't get it automatically and it is not free. If you want the unlimited plan, you have to change your plan.

In order to have unlimited Uverse HSI data, you must have Uverse TV.  Otherwise, unlimited data is $30 a month.

You must be talking about Mobile overages, because U-verse HSI overages shouldn't be happening until this billing cycle.

Since you must be talking about Mobile, then you should have posted this in the Mobile forum, but here you are.  As sandblaster said, you have to request to be moved to the "unlimited data" plan, if you have not done that, you must do that.

If you have Uverse internet AND Uverse TV, you will automatically get unlimited internet data.

As stated, you must be talking wireless (ie: cellphone/mobil) data and that does not fall under Uverse unlimited data.  You must pay for it.

Unlimited internet for your home is included if it is bundled with your Uverse or Direct TV service.

Unlimited data for your cellphone is available at an additional cost on your cellphone bill.
