Uverse 300 account

Our 12 month contract price for Uverse 300 has expired and bill has gone up $80, I tried calling for 1 hour to talk to someone to "renegotiate" our price. 

If we cannot lower the bill, we will be cancelling service after being a customer for 30 years.
