U-verse App Log In Issues
Since October 2021 I've not been able to log into my U-verse app. I receive an error message that says "That's not the User ID used to set up the account", which is incorrect. I've had the same user ID since 2006 and nothing has changed. When I use the "Forgot User ID" option, it provides me the exact User ID I've been trying to log in with. I've called customer service and was told the app isn't capatible with my Samsung Galaxy S20 phone which doesn't make sense because it always worked then stopped working. Not having access to the app doesn't allow me to use the functions of the service. Any suggestions?

Additionally, my sister logged into her U-verse account using the app on my phone and had no problems.

We are here to help you get back into your U-verse app, Winston2.
Here is more information on how to troubleshoot the U-verse app.
You can try:
This will get rid of anything affecting the app to function properly. Also, we suggest that you reset your password as this will resync your account.
You should also be using the Member ID to login to your app. This is the AT&T email that is tied to your account.

I've done all these things multiple times with no success. As stated, someone else used my phone and logged into their account on my phone and there was no issue. And I use the same log in and PW on all of my other ATT log ins and have no issues.

Thank you for the update, and we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
We suggest that you remove your U-verse credentials from any third party app that you are using. After this, try logging into the app again.

Winston2, if you check other posts to this forum you will see this has been an ongoing problem for many customers for many months now. It is an issue created by ATT...
It seems there are two possible fixes.
First... Use your original Uverse ID to login to the app. This ID may be different than the login you use at att.com.
Second... create a new sub-account at att.com and use that new ID with the Uverse app (This worked on my S8 phone)

Just to be clear, you created a subaccount under your Uverse member ID and could not login to the Uverse app, right?

UPDATE: Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I tried all of the suggestions over and over and I don't what combination I used for the umpteenth time, but it finally let me log in.
