U-verse app log-in

I constantly have to come up with new passwords to log into the U-verse app.  The system says I have exceeded 3 tries and wants me to come up with a new password when I haven’t logged in with a wrong password even once.  It’s becoming quite annoying.  Anybody else having this issue?

I deleted and reloaded the U-verse app, and it didn't fix the issue.  I still get the message that I have exceeded the number of incorrect password entries, when in effect I haven't even made one incorrect entry.  This issue happens randomly, meaning I can log-on successfully a couple of times and then all of a sudden it blocks me.  Also, when this happens, I have to change the password on my Yahoo email account (which is now blocked too) as both accounts share the same password.
