Wanted short term internet service NO HELP
Somebody please tell me what the deal is here.
My brother has uverse, tv and phone ONLY. Doesn't have internet. Wont ever want it either.
I moved in TEMPORARY 4-6 WEEKS while I find a place and a job-back from Hawaii.
I called to ask about how much would it be to get internet for this time frame. That's ALL I wanted to know.
The following train wreck happened.
Three phone calls, hung up on twice.Called by the wrong name "Nori" not Lori, repeatedly.
Wanted to know my phone number and started to change my number to MY BROTHER'S phone number.
Asked if my wireless modem was plugged in and what cable were running from the back.
Never got an aswer to ONE SIMPLE QUESTION, CAN YOU GIVE ME INTERNET FOR A MONTH AND HOW MUCH IS IT.???
I would LOVE for someone, ANYONE at U-verse to answer my freaking question.

Simple answer: No. That's not how it works. Your brother could add Internet to his account but most likely he would be required to sign up for one year of service.
So, NO...what you are wanting is NOT do-able. Sorry.

@PIttacus Only 1 Uverse DSL signal can come into any address at any time. You would have to have your brother add it to his Uverse service, why they kept changing it to his #.
Coulld just do it at myATT or channel 9910.
