What is the contact for AT&T’s legal department?
We had AT&T at our old home and were very happy with it. When we bought a new home, we were solicited by AT&T to set up service in the new house for Uverse and WiFi. We were quoted a great deal for uverse and cable with fiber for roughly $100 a month.
We moved into the new house, and someone showed up to setup DIRECTV, which we had never ordered. He actually installed the dish on the back of the home without even speaking to me. When he knocked to come inside, I asked about Uverse. He of course was a DIRECTV employee, and had no idea.
I called AT&T the next morning, only to be informed that Uverse and fiber internet is NOT OFFERED at our new address. So basically, someone signed us up and put us on a plan for services not even available to us. I immediately complained, was apologized to immensely, and everything was canceled. I was reassured repeatedly that nothing would be charged due to everything being canceled in less than 24 hours. I returned the directv box and cables immediately.
Now we are being charged $500 something for An “early termination” fee and a pro-rated amount of usage. Repeated attempts to call AT&T have yielded 0 help. Bills are now about to be sent to collections. We are still receiving “urgent calls” saying that we owe money, and if not it will be turned over to collections.
I am wanting to contact the legal department. I am filing with the BBB and FCC tomorrow.

Arbitration guidelines (Paragraph 11) can be found in the TERMS OF SERVICE.
AT&T uses outside law firms....HUGE Law Firms. I have an attorney friend who works at one of the many.
Other posters have had success contacting the Office of the President with issues.. You can search for that information using Google (hint: The Dallas Cowboys play at AT&T Stadium).
