what to do
I didn't have service last night so I called and got a technician out today at 2. He said it was an outside problem. Ok. He said a outside technician will be here later. By 6:00 my wife came home and called. Customer service said we have an appointment at 7:00. None showed. I called back a little after 8. Customer service said it will be tomorrow and I said no. You can't help me after talking with her 35 mins. Requested a supervisor. Supervisor said one was outside. No one was outside. So they both just kept lying. Lied about me having a appointment, someone outside, oh then she said they were over booked. All headaches could have been avoided if they just said we will make repair tomorrow. No tv, internet, or landline. They now *** ain't even my feeling. BEYOND.

Another "What to do" but different issues. Called C/S 2/21 for help because I wasn't getting incoming email. Simple, right? NOT! I spent about 8 hrs in 4 days, 2 chats, 2 phone calls. First 3 just added more bad issues to my email. Finally 4th contact said they weren't trained w/email & I needed Connectechs @ $45! Supervisor waived that fee because they had totally messed up. Got upper level tech then who fixed most of the problems in 10 min. but had changed some usual small details like putting my name in wrong, our "To" w/wrong names, most all of old mail in Inbox & Sent disappeared & also from their website so no retrieving some important mail, Each time each tech that followed up would think AOK but when I'd try to use it there was still something wrong. I have documented @ least 5 diff. Connectechs who could not fix it all!Apparently you have 5 days of help & we were leaving town on the 5th day so that tech said he'd call me the day after we got home @ 4 p.m... NOT! We even lost I.E. which somehow my DH fixed. I now have mail but can't send mail w/any type picture or my contacts receive from 4 to 16 copies garbled. I've sent 2 even more detailed letters to C/S & no response @ all. Anyone have any ideas other than paying a local Tech $100+? 3 y/o Asus desk top! Help! We're non techie Seniors & just too stressed out! TIA!

You should send a PM to ATT Uverse Care.
Watch for the blinking blue envelope at the top of the screen for there response.

This is not the norm I assure you. I've had several quite successful service calls with only one being rescheduled because the job before took longer than expected.
Don't give up and let them try to resolve this.

letters, regular C/S techs can't handle emails & the Contactechs [upper
level techs that have to be paid & didn't follow through w/me] won't talk to
you w/o a contract I just had no idea what else to do. I'm going to try the
suggestion given just before your post even though I have no idea who they
are yet!

Jeffster, I finally got around to trying to send the PM to but there's no known address. I tried lower case & continuous letters. How do I send it? I'd given up because most of the visible errors seemed to be correcting little by little but doing the AT&T Scan showed many errors, 15 Critical! Probably should be a PM to you but not sure about how that works w/o searching & it's late! Hope you see this or anyone else that's familiar w/that address. TIA!

Either click on the link in Jeffster's post or THIS ONE
It is a PM to Customer Care. Explain your situation and click the blue "SEND" box on the bottom right hand corner.
