Where Can I file a Complaint?

I am having a serious issue with ATT Uverse on billing. I canceled my account and they did not disconnect it for whatever reason, and now they are billing me for 4 months where I did not have ATT. They refuse to help. They gave me the number to the Corporation Commission in my state but the Corporation Commission told me they don't handle internet complaints and that ATT know this and was just blowing me off. Now I am even angrier. I feel like ATT is punishing me for switching back to Cox. No notification until FOUR MONTHS LATER! This is a scam to charge me even more than if they would have sent a bill earlier.

Where can I file a complaint? The FCC?

Thanks,

Alicia

What you can try is clicking on the following link:

ATTCustomerCare (Billing/other)

and sending a message to the appropriate team. Leave your name, account number, phone number & best time to reach you, and a description of your issue. They will be able to take a look into it for you. Keep in mind they may not respond right away, so keep an eye on the blue envelope in the top right corner after being signed in.

customer care is a joke...they are there to tell you they cant do anything and basically they will charge you what they want and if you don't happily pay send it to collections. I'm sure you've experienced that so far. I'm waiting to see how muh worse my mess gets so I have a full story but FCC might take complaints definitely the BBB Better Buisiness Bureau. look at all the complaints amazing and they really could care less. good luck

Please let me know where I can file a complaint!!! This just isn't fair at all. I'm sick to my stomach with them! Does one have to pay to file a dispute?

I had the exact thing happen to me.   I cancelled my account and they opted to not cancel it and keep charging me for three months.  They are saying I owe even though it is clear in their notes that I indeed cancelled my account.  I've spent probably 20 hours on the phone trying to rectify.  [Edited to comply with Guidelines]
