Who ordered U-Verse?
We got an email a few days ago stating that our AT&T service was scheduled to be installed on Saturday. We ignored it because we didn’t order anything so we thought it was fake. Saturday, a guy in an AT&T van shows up and says he has an order to install U-Verse. He had our address and my wife’s name.
He couldn’t tell us who ordered it. We’d like to find out who placed that order.
Could someone let us know who to contact to get to the bottom of this, please?

No, we didn't speak with anyone regarding any services.
We have never had any service with AT&T other than mobile which we terminated several weeks ago.
We spoke with someone via chat on AT&T's site. According to the rep, there was fraudulent activity on our account (even though it was closed) as well as many others that had been reported. She said that an investigation had been opened, and there was a possibility of some type of breach.
