Why Do they NEVER do what they promise you when you call Customer Service?

This happens every time I call Cstomer Service! I have been a customer for many years (back from the Bellsouth days) and every year I have to make plan adjustments when my bundle runs out. I spend at least 1 1/2 hours in the phone 2-3 times to try to get something I can use.. Then PROMISES are made (I.e. We will credit your acct, we will set up this plan, we will adjust bill by waiving your receiver fees each month..) and not ONE time have thy done what they say the are going to do! Which then required another long phone call.. Then they say well we have to research your case and what the previous customer service rep told you.. Then you get put on hold for 10 minutes.. Then guess what???... "We don't see in their notes where they mentioned giving you a credit or waiving receiver fees"... HAPPENS EVERY TIME! I am so sick of dealing with ATT customer service I will sit and look at my bills for days and days just because I can't handle the stress it causes me to have to deal with them! To ANYONE, I suggest you stay on the phone until all credits are made! And don't believe it when they say it has to be processed and may take a few hours because I have seen credits applied within minutes in the past! SICK of dealing with it.. I seriously dread opening my bill when it comes because I know it's going to be messed up! As I sit here right now waiting for a credit to my bill that was promised me a few days ago.. I know it will never be posted, yet I can't even deal with having to call them again! It ruins my entire day!
