Why does ATT take advantage of people

I had been calling for weeks about my promotions falling by off, my bill jumped $140.00 per month for just TV and internet. I called over and over, but was given the run around about my bill being by past due, well it is past due, because you of the extra charges, that you now say you cant adjust because it is past due!!!!! What! Been with them for 10 years. Bye Uverse.

The key word here is promotion, when you sign up its clealry outlined when the promotion will end and what the monthly fee is. AT&T will not renew your promotion  and neither will any other service provider, you may get some small discounts but not at the price of the promotion.A lot of people just bounce around from provider to provider when the promotion runs out

I understand that, then Att's prices without the promotion are ridiculous. I only have TV and internet and the bill for one month is almost $400. Then they tell me to call back to see if I qualify for more discounts only to give me the run around. I have not jumped around been with ATT almost 10 years, but this is just not fair business.

Sorry they won't help you.

Everyone... AT&T has been jacking us around for months now! We have been stuck in a black hole of no support since their merger and attempts to convert customers to Direct TV. We moved and were converted back to U-verse at the new house, Direct TV equipment returned and service canceled March 3rd. They continued to bill us for a service that was canceled! No one can figure out how to fix it, now up to $800! All admit there is something wrong and we have everything documented. We have been very nice and patient as we listen to a sub par customer service reps tell us it's been fixed time and time again... that's if we don't just get hung up on or fake transferred!!!!! We have tried all "customer service" avenues. WE NEED A DIRECTOR LEVEL TO FINALLY RESOLVE THIS! VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF SUPPORT!
You call customers your "family"... this is how you treat family!? Liars!

You need to call the executive office in Dallas. You can get the number online. Ask for the office of senior management for U-verse. 

I had to call about two years ago for a issue I was having. The person that I spoke to took care of my issue in less than two hours. I was being jerked around by tech support for over two weeks.

Just got off the phone with retention as my special pricing will be expiring soon. I was told in no uncertain terms that ATT is not giving any special pricing to existing customers. The rep said that he doesn't care that I have been a phone customer since 1974, wireless since 1991 and UV since 2010. 

 

I guess it is time to call and make a appointment with Spectrum.

 

It's a shame that ATT doesn't give a d--n about existing customers, especially long term customers.
