Why is it that I can't make any changes to my account online?

Everytime I try to make changes to my account online it won't let me.  I always end up having to deal with a customer service rep who is trying to sell me something I don't want.  Why even have the option to make changes if you don't allow your customer to make them?  I'm a relatively new customer but I'm about ready to go back to Comcast.

I've been dealing with the problem with over a year.  Personally I feel its a tactic to make you call them.  I have even created a support and still no resolution.  I noted now that the have changed the wording when redirecting you to call.

 

This issue is true regardless if you are upgrading or downgrading service.

Good question, I never have any problem upgrading/downgrading online. Smiley Surprised
