Why was I lied to?

I was upgrading from Ubasic to U200 ... I was told that the price was $92 and that I would get a $10/mo off promotion for a year.

While I was on the phone the upgrade was taking effect, but I was not getting my HD channels. I was then transferred to the "Tech Dept" and he said that the upgrade would take overnight. Wellll, this morning I was getting some HD channels, but none that I wanted, of course!

So, I called back this morning, and I was told that there was a problem, I know, imagine that!

He said that the price was $92 with an extra $10 for HD ... I told him that is not was on the website, that HD is included on the U200 ...

Why, oh why do they lie to us??????????????????????

You should offer retirees a substantial discount  ... Now that I am on a fixed income, I would like to think you have valued me for all the years that I have been signed up with ATT.

I'm retired on SS, have had Uverse for 11 years and AT&T phones back to Southwestern Bell (45 yrs) & Cingular (20+ yrs.).

 

If ANYBODY deserves a loyalty discount it's ME!
