Why was U450 Latino forced on my account?

Hello,

I had a tremendous amount of trouble getting my AT&T TV and Internet service installed. Very long story that I won't go into. However, when I get my first bill I notice that I now have U450 Latino, rather than just U450. It looks like on other plans the Latino costs extra.

Why was this put on my account without my knowledge?

How do I get rid of it without messing up my new account discounts and promotional pricing?

Thank you!!

You can send a private message to the escalation team at ATT Customer Care and someone will get in touch with you in two to three business days to help you get a resolution to your problems.

I have the same problem and have spent hours trying to get it fixed.  Last word yesterday (after 1 hour on phone) is that it cannot be fixed.   It was escalated to the customer retention dept. and this is what was told to the customer account rep.  So, is the only solution to stop service?  I will contact the "escalation" team mentioned, but I'm not spending much more time on this.  This was their error.  Very frustrating.
