Will not honor mistake agent made

I had uverse service and was attempting to see what specials uverse had. I spoke to the agent and decided to switch to direct tv. The order was placed to  switch to direct tv. I decided to switch back to uverse and called to cancel my direct tv order. I saw a special that was given for 114.99 and advised the agent that i wanted that special in which she did give it to me in addition to an additional 35.00 off for the next 12 months. I called  today to see why my bill was the 239.00 and was told the order had been cancelled and I could not receive the 114.99 because the agent made a mistake. This is not my fault the agent made a mistake and misquoted. I have been on hold with the supervisor for 33:35 minutes as I am typing this now. The mistake is yours and the 114.99 should be honored. I will be cancelling my services as soon as this over seas agent comes back to the phone. This is very poor service. I have been an att customer for some years now and this is the first time I have ever had an issue.

Let me see if I have this straight:  You had Uverse.  Cancelled Uverse.  Signed up for DirecTV.  Cancelled DirecTV.  Went back to Uverse.

If the $114.99 was a "new customer" special, then no, you did not qualify.  You have to be gone from the service for 6 months to be considered a new customer.
