Wondering what's up

We've had ATT Dsl for over 10 years until last month (Sept) when we changed to Uverse. We changed thinking it would help the problem of intermittent connection we've had for a long time. The sometimes connection was frustrating but doable. However, last weekend or internet just completely stopped working. We had 2 techs come out who said there was nothing they could do, we were just too far away from the copper wire that ATT has laid to service this area. We knew we were the last house on the line but we haven't moved. Seems a bit odd that it just totally quit. Poof, gone! Have to wonder if it was intentional and motivated by new company "economic" policies. I'd be interested to know if anyone else is having this problem. We don't have many options at this point. Comcast doesn't service here.

Hi @Doorbell,

We apologize about the issues you are having with your service. If your line was at the edge, there are certain things that may have caused the line to degrade just enough where service is no longer available, such as new construction in the area causing interference or even something as simple as the weather change. We will be happy to investigate this for you. Please send us a detailed message by clicking here. Be sure to include your name, account number, phone number, and the best time to reach you.

Keep an eye on the envelope.png at the top right corner of your screen for a response.

In the meantime, let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
